Hey all. I have been using IOS to produce most of my movies on youtube, but I would like to take advantage of the graphics scard in my late 2015 IMAC. does anyone use IMOVIE, Final cut pro, or anything else to edit movies on the mac? if so can I get some voice over pointers? I can do most of what I need to on the mac, but with my phone, storage is an issue with 4k video, and rendering takes for ever.
I've used Final cut Pro back around 2011. It was not even remotely accessible with voiceover at the time. Perhaps things have changed? I imagine you'd have better luck with IMovie given that it is apple-integrated.
that is odd, because I thought apple made final cut pro with the back bone of the iMovie interface?
Maybe? Like I say, it was in 2011. Lots might have changed in that time.
I am slowly figuring out IMovie. I will most likely post something on youtube on how to do it
Oh please plese please post a tutorial on iMovie. It does appear to be accessible. I just don't really have a clue what I'm doing. *smile* I would really like to learn though because I want to make DVD comilations of my son's activities throughout the year to share with his grandparents.
would you like a video done on the IOS or MAC version? I can do both.
Great thread. I remember a guy named Mike or something that made a series of videos detailing how to make and edit movies/videos with iMovie. For the life of me I can't find them anymore he made a multi part series. A tutorial on this would be super awesome;. I do remember it took a big to mentally map the areas on the screen and regions to interact with but it was certainly doable...
to post 7, can you allso do a tutorial for IOS?
I have done some older ones on youtube and apple vis, but I suppose when I find the time I can.
